  We went on a tour of the Marrakesh medina with Original Moroccan Tours and it was wonderful! This was our third time to Marrakesh and having a guide made the... read more experience so much better. Marrakesh can be very overwhelming but Hamid told us where to park, and then had Mustapha come and meet us so we wouldn't get lost. Mustapha told us lots of history throughout the day, customized our tour to accommodate our attraction and restaurant requests, and adjusted our walking pace for our party who was unaccustomed to lots of walking in the heat. Mustapha was patient with our questions and we really enjoyed touring the city with him. On our tour we went to the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, the Jewish quarters, a berber shop with argan oil and spices, and past the king's palace before going to L'mida for lunch. After lunch we walked through the various districts of the medina like brass, weaving and dying, wood, leather, and got to do some shopping! We ended the day at Jemaa el-Fnaa. I highly recommend seeing the Koutoubia Mosque and hearing the history of Marrakesh there, as well as asking about some of the details that go into mosque construction. Bahia Palace has the most beautiful zellij tiling as well as carved plaster relifs and painted wooden doors and ceilings, done by artisans from Fes. If you don't have a visit to Fes in your itinerary, this is a great place to see some of the traditional work from that city. The Jewish quarters have a very unique style and Mustapha took us through a traditional souk where we saw pastilla being made, butchers, florists, fruit stands, and more. I really enjoyed visiting it. The medina itself has a lot of twists and turns but having a guide to walk through it is very helpful. Also you get a lot less hassling if you have a guide with you. If you are interested in something specific, (like leather shoes, rugs, spices, brass lanterns, etc), ask Mustapha for a recommendation and he will take you to specialty shops for those items. Hamid was a fantastic communicator and did a great job setting up the tour for us. We loved Mustapha and would recommend him to anyone wanting a tour of the Marrakesh.

Right from the beginning, our guide Mohamed, picked us up and made us feel right at home. He was the perfect at reading our vibes, giving us immense knowledge about the Moroccan culture, learning local language/culture, and letting us wonder on our own. Son una empresa familiar que en todo momento te cuida. Conocer Marruecos y sus alrededores con ellos es muy seguro. Hamid y su hermano menor Mohamed son grandes anfitriones.

Nosotras tomamos el tour al campamento en el desierto de Zagora. Desde el recorrido comienzó la aventura, paramos en los mejores miradores y pudimos conocer a través de Hamid, la historia de cada poblado, degustar los mejores platillos y saber más sobre su maravillosa cultura.

Al llegar al campamento fuimos recibidas con una exquisita cena y un baile con tambores. Son muy alegres todos.

De Marrakech a Zagora son aproximadamente 7 horas de camino, más el trayecto en dromedarios al campamento. En estas épocas hace un poco de frío por lo qué hay que ir bien preparados.

Sin duda recomiendo que visiten Marruecos con los mejores ¡Original Morocco Tours!

It was an impressive trip and we saw a lot. The vast nature, the green Rif Mountains in the north and the rugged Middle Altas Mountains with the highest mountain pass in Africa.

Morocco is a very colorful country. You go from a gray moon landscape to a lush, orange area with clay kasbahs and hundreds of palm trees. In the cities, your senses are stimulated in the colorful medinas. In short, a trip that we can recommend to anyone and certainly with the Original Morocco Tours Team!

During our trip Hamid proved to be an excellent tour guide, he knew a lot about his country, the constantly changing environment, developments, faith, people and nature. Hamid responds well to the needs of his customers, has a sense of humor and is an excellent driver. The accommodations and meals were well cared for and the people in the riads were friendly and welcoming.

Our guide Hamid was incredible, a really nice person and the best guide we have had, he provided great tips, history lessons, was on top of what we needed and what we wanted to do. As a plus he speaks the local languages plus Spanish and English, so comunication was never a problem! Recommended 100%
