Route Details:
On this Tangier Sahara to Marrakech, you will visit the northern part of Morocco, Imperial cities, and the most amazing desert of Morocco. You will be able to contemplate some of the most impressive and different landscapes of the country. In a comfortable 4×4 or minibus, you will cross roads, cities, valleys, kasbahs, ports, gorges, dunes with Camel rides, and Bereber villages.
Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Tangier
After arriving at the airport/ harbor, you will be met and welcomed by your private driver/guide who will take you to relax in your hotel for the first night. Overnight in charming Riad/hotel.
Day 2
Exploring Tangier
On your second day, your experience in Morocco begins with a traditional breakfast at 9 am. Your local guide will meet at the front desk to show you around the sights, and the most important monuments in the city along with the answer of why Tangier is described as the Bride of the North? After spending a spectacular day touring around the city, you will be escorted back to the hotel where you will prepare for the next stage of your journey.
Day 3
Tangier - Chefchaouen
Breakfast at your riad. Set off to Chefchaouen at 9h.Your driver will take you to one of the most visited spots in the north of Morocco; Chefchaouen is often described as the city of light with its blue-painted houses and traditional rhythm. Upon check-in at your hotel, Lunch will be served at 12h30 and after enjoying your meal you can start your journey of discovering the charm of the city and its marvelous and colorful markets along with its peaceful atmosphere and nature.
Day 4
Chefchaouen - Fez
You will set off early in the morning to the first imperial capital of the kingdom, Meknes. Visit of the ruin roman city Volubilis. Lunch in Meknes medina, and time to explore the magical attraction of the city. In the evening you will be taken on a ride to discover the ramparts and the ancient gates of the city which witness its long-standing historical and cultural heritage.
Day 5
Exploring Fez
After your usual breakfast, you will set out with our private guide in discovering journey and tour of the most ancient city in Morocco, you will be to see the tomb of the founder of the city, visit the local markets as well as the unique Andalusian architecture in every corner of the old city and its monuments. Overnight in charming Riad.
Day 6
Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert
Your trip and journey to the south of Morocco along the Atlas Mountains, 1200 feet high, will start at 8 am in the morning. You will be spending your day on the road enjoying the panoramic view of the greenery and cedar trees. You will be able to enjoy a romantic view of the sunset upon your arrival at Merzouga. After check-in, you will set off again on camels to enjoy a relaxing night in the heart of the Sahara where you will be spending your night with the dunes in the local Berber tents, not to mention having a traditional dinner under the stars.
Day 7
Merzouga – Tingdad – Toudra Gorge – Dades valley - Rose valley – Ouarzazate
After the desert night. The road to 1000 Kasbah, Ouarzazate will start early in the morning. You will start your travel with our private driver passing by Toudra Gorges, where you will enjoy a scenic view of the oasis and the Valley between the two 600 feet high mountains. Expected arrival to Ouarzazate will be about 6pm in the evening where you will spend the night.
Day 8
Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas - Marrakech
After breakfast, you will be taken on a tour to the famous set of some of the famous films in Hollywood such as The Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia, Kasbah Ait Ben haddou. Follow the path and discover where some of your favorite movies were shot. After you visit the Ait Benhaddou site, you will cross the highest vehicular pass in Morocco, Tizi N’Tichka 7.415 feet, where you will spend the rest of your travel. End of our service.
